We're Moving!

We have some wonderful friends who want us to house sit for them!  We are so excited.  They'll be snow-birds and head south for the winter and we'll hold down the fort.

During the next few weeks we'll help with renovations in the basement so that we can have a kitchen down there.  The summer months we are going to stay living in the apartment and help our friends with yardwork and cooking.

The wife is in a wheelchair with the use of an arm, shoulders and up.  She used to be a gym teacher and now is an incredible painter!  Oh, right now I just love the painting she is in the middle of.  She has an ocean scene that is developing beautifully.

The husband is such a handyman.  He loves to mountain bike, and do outdoorsy things.  He also makes lye soap that looks really nice and earthy.

They have a backyard where the kids run and play and find the most creative things to do!

We're just a LITTLE excited.  did I make that little big enough?  Chuckle.

Presidet Gordon B. Hinkley said it this way: "You can be a leader.  You must be a leader...in those causes for which the Church stands...The adversary of all truth would put into your heart a reluctance to make an effort.  Cast that fear aside and be valiant in the cause of truth and righteousness" (Church News, September 21, 1996, 3 as cited by Dew).

When life throws you lemons, or possibly a rock, you thank Heavenly Father you're alive.

When I got back from walking this morning I found our passenger window broken in the van.  We think a rock from Ammon road kicked back and shattered it.
