So, the reason for the name...
Our dear friend Max christened us Bristy when we were first married. We no longer had individual identities with the sealing in place...so he said. So we became Bristy. Recently I was emailing him an invitation to visit our home when he came into town. I signed it BristyKataac now that we have two children. He loved it! So it stuck.

By the way, don't feel bad if people don't comment on a particular blog post. We still read it, we're just big 'ole lurkers (as much as I ask people not to be, I am myself!).

Good talking to you on the phone while I was driving from Iowa to Illinois. I'm really sorry I don't "do" phones pretty much anymore. I do appreciate the messages I get from you, and will try to email you back to respond to phone messages.
